Absolutely! Once you have signed up for services, Aubrey and/or Amy will come to your home to meet you and your fur kid(s) and complete a consultation. We will go over their feeding, potty and play routine, medical needs and also cover any other myriad of options that you would like to have us complete.
You will have a chance to meet Amy and/or Aubrey face to face so that you know who is entering your home and taking care of your fur kid(s). We will go over the kids' routine, feeding instructions, favorite toys or hiding places and favorite places to rub. Also at this time, we will confirm your booking, collect a key or a garage code to your home and show off our license, bond and insurance agreements.
Though we do not charge by time, an average visit is between 30 – 40 minutes, depending on your fur kid(s) need(s). We don’t place a time limit on visits because sometimes we have a dog client that needs that extra 10 minutes of ball play, or a shy kitty that just wants us to leave her food and water and say a quiet goodbye.
It sure is! We LOVE to walk dogs! It gives us and them a really good workout. However, please note that we will not walk dogs when temperatures exeed 90 degrees. Many local vets will counsel you to walk your beloved in the early morning before the sidewalks have had time to heat up or in the evenings, at dusk, when the sun has set and it’s starting to cool down.
We do. There is a one time charge of $20 per day regardless of how many visits you have scheduled for that day. The holidays that we will charge you for are: Easter, the 4th of July Thanksgiving day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
If you are an existing client, than you can call us on the same day that you need service and we will most likely be able to work you into our schedule. For new clients, we need a minimum of 72 hours for sign up, consultation and scheduling (before we can commit and/or approve a booking)
We require a two week notice for overnight services only. If you have to cancel your day visits, no problem and there is no charge.
Our primary areas of service are North Scottsdale, Northeast Phoenix, Cave Creek and Desert Ridge. Please feel free to contact us and we can confirm that your home is in our service area.
We will first attempt to contact you if your kid is in distress. If we are unable to reach you, we will then reach out to all of the emergency contacts that you have provided to us. In the event that we are unable to reach you or your emergency contacts, and your pet is in need of immediate vet care, we will take your pet to the vet that you have placed on record. If it is after hours, we will take your pet to the nearest 24/7 Emergency Veterinarian Care center for treatment. Please know that all of our pet sitters are trained in CPR and emergency medical care. We will attempt to contact you in all non emergency and emergency situations.
