Aubrey Myers is a pet sitter and co-owner of Paws and Whiskers Pet Sitting Services LLC. Aubrey has always had an immense passion for the animal world. She grew up in Boise, Idaho and Portland, Oregon surrounded by dogs, cats, mice, horses, cows, and chickens. She attended college at Portland State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She has learned lots about animals from her sister-in-law, who is a veterinary technician, including how to give insulin shots and subcutaneous fluids. She has also completed a course and gained certification in pet CPR and emergency aid.
While in Boise, she worked as a catering supervisor for seven years while developing pet sitting experience part-time on the side. She began to contemplate how she could use her love of animals to find a meaningful career for herself. In 2012 she moved with her husband to north Scottsdale and took the plunge to work as a pet sitter full-time. Life couldn't be better doing what she loves! She never tires of meeting new pets and getting to know them and their personalities so she can provide the best care possible while their owners are away. She is grateful to all the animals she has had the pleasure to befriend. She currently lives with her husband and their four rescue kitties, Bubbles, Chaos, Hazy, and Ember. They are the queens of the household! She looks forward to meeting you and your fuzzy, furry, feathered, and scaly family members with whom you share your home and your love.
Tresha has been an animal lover since the age of 5 and a pet owner beginning at a young age of 19. She has gained a wealth of knowledge through her experience of raising two dogs of her own, fostering, volunteering, and most recently rescuing her dog Crew. She was born in the Midwest, but Southwest grown. She spent 8 years living in the PNW, which is where she fell in love with the outdoors, began volunteering, and rescued Crew. The sunshine state was calling her name so she packed up Crew returned to Az in Feb 2021.
Tresha graduated from University of Phoenix with her bachelor's degree in Business Management. She spent 18 years as a Learning and Development professional where she has created, developed, facilitated, and managed Professional Development and New Hire Onboarding programs for financial corporations.
Tresha knows the struggle of finding a great pet sitter, all too well, so she decided to begin pet sitting part time in hopes of providing others with piece of mind knowing their fur baby would be in the best care while they are away. Her love and passion for caring for animals grew, and so did her desire to help her local furry friends so she decided to take her side gig and make it a full time side passion.
xIn Tresha's free time, she loves to be outside and with Crew in tow. Kayaking, hiking, traveling, painting, listening to podcasts, and new experiences are all things she enjoys!
